By using Leafwise, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any applicable laws. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the app. By registering for an account, you confirm that the information provided is accurate, complete, and kept up to date.

3. Account Registration

Users may create an account by providing a full name and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Use of the App

Leafwise provides a service that helps users diagnose plant problems by analyzing user-submitted images and descriptions. You agree to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must not use the app in a way that violates any laws or engage in harmful activities that could damage the app’s functionality or reputation.

5. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of any images or descriptions you upload to the app. By submitting content, you grant Leafwise a non-exclusive, royalty-free, and transferable license to use your content strictly for diagnostic purposes within the app. You also agree that submitted content may be anonymized and used for training to help improve Leafwise's AI models. You are responsible for ensuring that the content you upload does not infringe the rights of others.

6. Privacy

Your personal information (full name and email) is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Upload harmful or malicious content (e.g., viruses, spyware).
  • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others.
  • Exploit the app for illegal or unauthorized purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

Leafwise is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the app. We are not responsible for the accuracy of the plant diagnoses provided. The results are intended for informational purposes and should not replace professional advice.

9. Modification of Services

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time without notice. We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions. Any changes will be posted with an updated "Effective Date."

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms or engage in any unlawful behavior. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York County, New York. Before seeking legal action, you agree to contact us to attempt to resolve any dispute informally.
